When it comes to the smartphone arena, it is difficult not to compare between two flagship units should they be released in the market. As such, the practice of pitting one unit with another for comparisons of which is better is a scenario common to the healthy competition between many different manufacturers, not just of two known brands.
Specific to the rivalries between Sony and Asus in the smartphone market, we are to compare the Xperia Z3+ (known as Z4 in Japan), a flagship unit by Sony, and the Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML model) that is Asus's.
Comparing two unique devices without first looking at the externals is a possibility not too common for many, even when hands-on to the units. Completely the opposite, comparing both Xperia Z3+ (Z4) and Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) is like looking at two gorgeously looking pieces of technology built with their own sense of style.
While the Zenfone may looked like made from something metallic from the outside, hands-on experience tells us that it is made of plastic, but one that does not necessarily make it looked cheap yet is undeniably out of par from premium ones such as the Xperia Z3+ Z4), LG G4, Galaxy S6, or HTC One M9. A fact that was initially reported by AndroidHeadlines.
However, being superior in design does not hold true to the specifications department such is the case with Zenfone 2. Featuring a bigger RAM at 3 Gb big, a bigger screen size at 5.5 inches, bigger battery capacity at 3000 mAh, and an overall faster CPU which means for a smoother experience with the unit albeit dual core in nature, the Asus Zenfone 2 beat Sony Xperia Z3+ (Z4) on all these aspects mentioned.
Yet, there are also these notable features in roster for the Sony Xperia Z3+ (Z4) such as having an octa-core processor which means better parallel computing that does not slow the user interface down, slimmer and lighter than Zenfone 2, superior camera, and a support on both HDMI and DLNA features not seen on Zenfone 2.
Moreover, one major factor which may be significant to the comparison between these two devices is the price. At a price almost twice as much as the Zenfone 2 as laid out by MobileSMSPK, the Xperia Z3+ (Z4) unit can be very expensive.
However, if the price is not the main issue in choosing between two units, there is with some arguments that the Sony Xperia Z3+ (Z4) may have win this bout.
