Janel Parrish was Val Chmerkovskiy's partner in 'Dancing with the Stars' where she reached Season 19 finals. At the time, they were rumored to be dating, which they denied. But then the two stars separated ways, and Val's dance partner now is Rumer Willis. Lots of speculations are rising, saying the new dance partners are the ones dating now.
While the 'Dancing with the Stars' was airing with Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy were still partners, there were lots of guessing if the two were having a romantic relationship. Both were seen holding hands during rehearsals and on performances. But in an interview with Val last October 2014 through Glamour via Inquisitr, he just said: "We're not dating. Maybe the press reserves the right to ask these questions, but I'm a professional, and I'm on a dance show. " He also added "We're not dating. I want Janel to be great. I want her to be protected. I care about her because she's my partner and my priority on and off the dance floor."
As Val denied the rumors about his dating status with Janel, the latter also said "It's amazing that people love us and want to talk about us, but on the other hand we would love it if they just focus on what we're doing daily."
Recently, Val and dance partner Rumer Willis won the finals of the Season 20 finals on "Dancing with the Stars." Janel Parrish congratulated them on Twitter saying 'I said it from the start, didn't I? Congrats @TheRue and @iamValC.'
Val and Rumer were ecstatic upon winning the mirror ball trophy. Though the two have been reported dating, they never did actually admit it. Instead, Rumer said both of them changed each other and added "I feel like I've become a completely different person through this whole experience. I feel like through this whole journey that Val and I really changed each other and grown a lot. I just feel so grateful to have had this experience and so grateful to him and to be standing here right now."
