HzO, Inc.—a Utah start-up—received the coveted Utah Innovation Award in Salt Lake City today. The award was given to HzO for its revolutionary WaterBlockTM technology, which not only protects electronic devices from drips to splashes of water and other liquids, but also protects during prolonged submersion.
The Utah Innovation Awards program, the first of its kind nationally, is designed to recognize cutting-edge innovations and the Utah companies that created them. Twenty-seven innovations from across multiple industries were selected as finalists in the 10th Annual Utah Innovations Awards, presented by Stoel Rives LLP and the Utah Technology Council. HzO received this award in the Consumer Products category of the Utah Innovation Awards.
