The forthcoming Transformers 5 is prepared to slot in its plot along with its release next year. It is confirmed that Michael Bay will still lead the next Transformers franchise. On the contrary, Megan Fox is not likely to resurface the female lead role in the next Transformers movie as she is featured in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
Mark Wahlberg and Michael Bay have some respectable working harmony. Though Michael Bay formerly said he'd be fleeting directorial obligations to someone else which was just a few weeks after Transformer 4's debut. He's had changed his mind now that he had recuperated from the exhausting filming process of continuous Transformers installments. In an interview with Collider, Mark Wahlberg confirmed that Michael Bay will direct the movie again. "Just that Akiva [Goldsman] and those guys are starting to write and break stories, and stuff like that. But [Michael] Bay is in Malta shooting Benghazi, and I'm in New Orleans shooting Deepwater. We'll get together when he gets back." Wahlberg appended.
For the moment, a gossip that Megan Fox, the first Transformers female lead, is recurring in the upcoming movie is questionable, specifically as Fox is featured in the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
Producer, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, also opposed the issue earlier about Bay's assumed departure on Screen Rant. "I think it's one of those classic things where somebody reported that and suddenly it became our plan. We have never discussed the idea of how to hand it off, honestly. It's not like we don't think, well what happens if Michael doesn't do it, of course you do. But we want to keep Michael on this, so we're not spending any time worrying about who could come in. We're trying to figure out how to keep him going and keep him excited," di Bonaventura justified
The movie will be centered on Optimus Prime's task to explore the outer space to discover his creators. Optimus Prime will be occupying a greater role with more missions within reach. Transformers 5 might characterize Autobots' lineages, Maximals against the Decepticons' successors and the Predacons. The movie's plot took motivation from the Transformers robots, toy series and visual enthusiasts. Akiva Goldsman, one of the writers, detailed in Deadline, "We will look at the toys, the TV shows, the merchandise, everything that has been generated by Hasbro, from popular to forgotten iterations, and establish a mythological time line. It has been designed with a lot of visual help, toys, robots, sketches and writers and artists. After that super saturation, the writers will figure out not one, but numerous films that will extend the universe."
It is conceivable that he based his verdict to yield as director on the depth of the script. Transformers 5 is expected to hit the theaters next year.
