Stock markets in Asia were mostly higher as yet another record high on Wall Street brought momentum in the region.
However, markets of commodities, bond, and stock were closed for Good Friday in Europe, the United States as well as in large parts of Asia.
On March 28, the Standard and Poor's 500 index closed at its highest level as U.S. reported encouraged data for economic recovery. The economy has increased at a 0.4% rate annually in the quarter from October to December as reflected by stronger export sales and business investment.
Closing at 12,397.91, Japan's Nikkei reversed early losses to increase 0.5% as the unemployment rate in the country edged up.
Meanwhile, on Good Friday, markets in the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Singapore were shut.
