LG G4 Pro: “Irony” That is Good; Variant to LG G4 Metallic in Structure

By

Just as when LG's next flagship smartphone unit after LG G3 is has gone through production and commercial release not too long ago, another variation of the same updated flagship unit is coming into play. But unlike the original model that preceded it, this variant known simply as the "LG G4 Pro," is something to stand out among the LG G series and one that will apparently be made out of metal.

The rumor started out early enough which even came before LG G4's own commercial release. In reiteration of the same news that came from PhoneArena, an LG official, according to Focus Taiwan, confirms the arrival of a new unit sometime during the second quarter of this year possibly hinting to LG G4 Pro whose official specifications is yet to be finalized.

In an updated news coming from the same source as the rumor, this upcoming variation to the LG G4 might indeed be called as the LG G4 Pro which will be differentiated with its metallic build from the original model it variates from. The original LG G4 unit is made using plastics with an optional leather back covers.

However, as early as now, there seems to be perceived problems for LG regarding the pursuance to the use of metal when producing its latest flagship unit, namely the higher cost of metal as compared to plastic, including its processing cost, as well as the stiff competition in terms of sales with big companies such as Samsung and Apple, which are known to use metals when producing their own flagship units.

Early rumors have it that the upcoming variant to LG G4 will be priced at around $819 and will be released in direct competition to Samsung's Note flagship device at closely the same time as the release date of its competing company.
