One of the last few growing phone companies is Jazztel as it opens opportunities for shareholders to gain a foothold into the Spanish phone market. Jazztel is a broadband and mobile phone service provider that is set to lead the growth of its competitors both in Spain and throughout the European Union.
According to data obtained by Bloomberg, the company is set to grow at a higher rate compared to 91% of the competition. This pace of growth is what may attract Vodafone Group Plc as it tries to recover from previous losses in the Spanish telecommunications market. Another possible purchaser is Orange Spain, a subsidiary of France Telecom SA as it seeks to expand its subscriber base and strengthen its market position according to Swisscanto Asset Management.
Jazztel has expanded in Spain through its low cost broadband Internet phone service offerings and wireless plans to gain market share over Spanish market leader Telefonica SA. It has also reported eight years of revenue gains increasing since 2010 when it first reported the annual profit.
