The Disney Infinty 3.0 has been confirmed to release this coming fall with an exclusive PS4 and PS3 Star Wars Saga Starter Pack. This latest news was announced by VP of production John Vignocchi at Disney announced during the recently concluded Sony's E3 2015 press conference.
The Star Wars Saga Starter Pack for Disney 3.0 release includes the classic character figures namely, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Boba Fett, along with Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker. Also, Boba Fett can be unlocked in all of the Star Wars Play Sets.
Moreover, PS4 and PS3 users are entitled to get an early access by almost a month to Star War Rise Against the Empire Play DLC Set before its retail launching in US at $114.99.
Meanwhile, the starter pack for the game is inclusive of Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set and Star Wars Rise Against the Empire Play Set pieces which is based on the entire prequel trilogy.
This limited edition will also bring in a Boba Fett figure that won't be available for other platforms until the Holiday Season and it goes without saying that PS4 is the definitive platform for Disney Infinity 3.0. Other than the stand alone Boba Fett figure, a web code card to unlock the content for PC and mobile platforms will also be included.
Star Wars Rebels characters Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, Zeb Orelios and Kanan Jarrus have also been confirmed for Disney Infinity 3.0.
The release is slated in fall this year; hence, fans can anticipate for Disney's new title to hit Sony's platforms in October at the latest while the non-PlayStation launching will take place before the end of November around the Holiday shopping rush.
Disney Infinity begins to evolve into another annual franchise following 2.0 that added Marvel last year. This 2015, Disney Infinity 3.0 brings Star Wars into the fold to various platforms but some say PS4 version is going to be the total knock out.
