iPad Pro Running iOS 9 and Sporting a Larger Screen Is Apple's Most Expensive iPad

Just last week at the WWDC 2015 conference, Apple unveiled to the world its latest iOS 9 operating system which has given away few details that seem to reveal that a larger-screened iPad is on its way, iOS 9 iPad Pro.

Irish developer Steve Troughton-Smith discovered this larger keyboard format for iPad Pro while probing through the iOS 9 development kit. This discovery fueled more to the speculation that the Cupertino-based tech giant will add a much larger-screened iPad to its product line.

On a larger screen with higher resolution, speculated to be 2732 X 2048, which at 12. 9 inches, introduces new keys when in portrait mode. The layout is somewhat similar to a standard physical keyboard with keys for tab, caps lock, colon, pipe, question mark, angle brackets, and braces all on the main screen. iPad Pro rumored keyboard also adds a squat top row of keys for numbers and symbols according to TechnoBuffalo.

With iOS 9, Apple will introduce a new Split-Screen and Slide-Over functionality that will greatly benefit from the speculated increased size of the new iPad Pro. Hypothetically, future users of iPad Pro will enjoy running nearly two full-size Apple apps side by side.

iPad Pro is also rumored to have better compatibility with keyboards and support for USB devices, most likely in the form of USB - C. According to online report, Apple will make a variety of optimizations to iOS 9 for the incoming release of the iPad Pro, including the possible addition of support for multiple users. Another rumored feature of the iPad Pro is a set of stereo speakers, contrary to the mono setup found on the current iPad line.

The anticipated iPad Pro is speculated to be released this October, targeting businesses and professional users. When it comes to the price, it is safe to say that iPad Pro will certainly cost more than the current iPad Air 2. The question is how much more? Perhaps, Apple aficionados will just have to continue making theories until the official unveiling of the new iOS 9 iPad Pro.
