‘UFC 189: Aldo vs Mcgregor’ draws more PPV as Pacman vs Mayweather; Winning odds in favor of Brazilian Fighter

By

UFC 189: Aldo vs. McGregor is another highly anticipated fight inside the Octagon. Fans of UFC including the media are speculating of how this match will turn out. Jose is ready to defend his title and Conor is eager to have that UFC Featherweight belt around his waist either by knock out, submission, or winning the favor of the three judges.

According to MMAFighting, this UFC 189 fight between Aldo and McGregor is akin to "Pacman Vs Mayweather Fight" in so many levels. Well, aside from looking at the odds and predicting who's gonna come out as a winner, the generation of funds greatly matter as well. Roughly, this fight has already hit seven million dollars through promotion and world tours. The figure does not include yet the coming sales from PPV.

Dana White really thinks that UFC 189: Aldo vs. McGregor is the sort of Mayweather-Pacquiao in boxing. He added, "it will be massive on pay-per-view, and I think it's going to be a good fight."

As the UFC 189 event nears, the heated rivalry has almost come down to an end, declaring the toughest and fiercest between the two beasts. LowKickMMA reported that this fight is 2 years in the making. Conor McGregor has been constantly talking mad trash regarding Jose Aldo.

However, the winning odds seem to favor "Scarface". A few MMA stars (Luke Rockhold, Max Holloway, Frank Mir, Felice Herrig, Carla Esparza, Daniel Cormier, Lorenz Larkin, Urijah Faber, James Moontasri and Christos Giagos) give their votes to Aldo. There are 8 of them who said Jose will win this fight, while 2 casted their vote for Conor.

In another report of BloodyElbow, it says that the camp of Jose Aldo has brought in Jonas 'Speed' Bilharinho to mimic McGregor's unorthodox fighting style, which may be an advantage for the featherweight champ in finding a chink in Conor's armor. Jose's speed and accuracy as well as the use of his knockout power would really have to be put into play to avoid McGregor's long reach, forceful kicks and savvy hands.

While the winning and betting odds seem to skew to the ring side of Scarface, anything can happen inside the Octagon. You will never know who's gonna win. But MMA fans certainly hope to see knock out or submission.

UFC 189 will be held in MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 11, 2015.
