AMC has just added the 'Southland' alum Shawn Hatosy to the upcoming series 'Fear The Walking Dead' cast members. Latest update revealed that the first poster of the 'The Walking Dead' prequel has just been released, which hinted that the show will be more of a companion series rather than a spin-off.
'Fear The Walking Dead', a spin-off of the hit popular series 'The Walking Dead', just keeps getting bigger. The upcoming series has a new addition to its cast lineup.
IBTimes reports that 'Fear The Walking Dead' has just added the 'Southland' alum Shawn Hatosy to its cast. Hatosy is set to play a character that is "a well-intentioned but out of his element military man with a soulful disposition." His character's name is yet to be revealed.
In other report, 'Fear The Walking Dead' has just got a first poster. IndieWire reports that the poster looks similar to the hit series 'The Walking Dead', with a walker stumbling through the hallway of an abandoned building with a lot of walker silhouettes. This means that the upcoming series is not breaking rules of TWD. In fact, it will act as a companion series to TWD rather than a spin-off because it features events before Rick Grimes woke up from coma, and it will later have a live tandem with TWD when it returns.
Meanwhile, the zombies are heading to San Diego Comic Con in July. According to Variety, 'The Walking Dead' and the prequel series 'Fear the Walking Dead' will be joining the said event.
In a report, 'Fear the Walking Dead' makes its Con debut with a cast and creative panel. It will feature stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Lorenzo James Henrie, Ruben Blades and Mercedes Mason, along with showrunner David Erickson and exec producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and Dave Alpert.
