Kingdom Hearts Unchained X Confirmed For Western Release, Features New Avatar System, Set For Release to iOS and Android Devices

With the release of the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer at E3, Square Enix also announced fans that their favourite Disney themed role-playing game shall now be playable in mobile phones with the all new Kingdom Hearts Unchained X.

During the trailer release as reported by Siliconera, Director Tetsuya Nomura revealed that the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer is connected to Kingdom Hearts Unchained X. Nomura pointed out that there is a scene where a young Xehanort and a young Eraqus are playing chess while having a long conversation which seemed set on a very long time ago. The scene, he discloses, is where Kingdom Hearts Unchained connects with Kingdom Hearts 3.

Making its debut on mobile phones, Kingdom Hearts Unchained X replicates the action-packed and magical game series into fans' handheld devices. Previously only playable in Japan, Square Enix and Disney Interactive is now making the version available in North America which can be compatible for iOS and Android. According to Disney Interactive: "For the first time in the series history, players will create their very own Keyblade wielder and adventure through Disney worlds with beautiful and stylized art, while interacting with a rich cast of memorable Disney characters," Appadvice reports.

Unchained X will feature a lot of iconic Disney characters, as the series used to, such as Mickey Mouse and friends, even the seven dwarfs according to Cult of Mac. The mobile game is also as exciting as the console game with boss fights, character customization, and faction battles. The developers are also looking forward to give fans a very personalized experience as it not only enables the player to wield one's own Keyblade, but also browse through a wide array of outfits and choose from different character combinations with the new Avatar system.

Square Enix and Disney Interactive's Kingdom Hearts Unchained X debuts in iOS and Android mobile devices at a price of $0.99. No release date yet has been announced.
