The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Week 5 DLC is now available for download on PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe for Xbox One, and PC. This newest add-on includes new quest named Wolf School Gear Scavenger Hunt, and an alternative look for Triss. Also, Patch 1.06 for PC and Patch 1.05 for PS4 and Xbox One are released to offer additional bug fixes for the newly launched title.

Here's the details of Week 5 DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt announced and what freebie the fans are going to grab this week:

New Quest: Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear: Adventure awaits! Embark on an epic treasure hunt and get your hands on a long-lost elite set of Wolf School witcher gear!

Alternative Look for Triss: Love to play dress up? Now you can with this exclusive new look for Triss Merigold.

The new quest introduces sets of upgradable armor and upgradable Silver and Steel swords. Players should buy maps from merchants across Temeria to find all these items.

Meanwhile, Patch 1.06 for PC and Patch 1.04 for PS4 and Xbox One are now available for download.

Below are the details on Hotfix 1.06 that has just been released for PC:

- Fixes the endless loading screen when fighting the Ice Giant during the quest 'Lord of Undvik'

- Geralt's clothes will no longer be wet after leaving the menu

- The gate in the crypt now works correctly during the quest 'Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear'

- Fixes the lack of interaction with Roche on Oxenfurt Bridge in the quest 'Get Junior'

- Fixes an issue that prevented players from creating more than one item via Crafting/Alchemy

Unlike Patch 1.06 for the PC that have only few changes, Xbox One and PS4 has tons of changes. It includes fixes a possible exploit by preventing certain drowners from respawning infinitely, fixes an exploit whereby players could buy sea shells and sell the pearls inside them at a higher price, and Deploys the Bovine Defense Force Initiative.

The Bovine Defense Force Initiative is an anti-exploit measure to discourage players to accumulate cash by perpetually slaying hordes of cows and sell their hides to merchants. The patch fixes the glitch by introducing a huge horned monster that appears every time the player intends to respawn the cows.

You can see the details of these fixes from the game's official website.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Week 5 DLC as well as Patch 1.06/105 are now out and more will be released succeedingly. To date, the third installment in the popular The Witcher game series that was released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC last May 19 has sold over four million copies in just two weeks.
