It's a no-brainer, The Witcher 4 should be up and coming. With all the success that its predecessor, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has cornered, Polish video game developer CD Projekt RED must be looking in that direction right now. And it seems luck truly favors the willing, recent leaked documents reveal that certainly something's cooking.
In the meantime, fanboys and girls of the franchise are clamoring for not just another action-filled RPG adventure iteration through monsters and magic but a story game expansion.
Yes recently, a massive leak of the design documents for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was made public though no specific mention were given as to how these documents were obtained. Thanks to the Google Drive account of one of the key developer at CD Projekt RED and some persistent individual, design concepts which when pieced together would be equivalent to a storyboard were revealed.
While getting all the details may be too much of a spoiler to really enjoy the game, some vital information towards the direction of the franchise were also seen. Needless to say, a host of important data would expose the depth and scope of the fave action-filled game. So it's better to exercise caution in spilling these beans.
What is most interesting though is that somewhere somehow in the thousands of lines of text in that leaked docu arose needed confirmation for the The Witcher franchise's next iteration. Specifically, a slew of documents made constant reference to The Witcher 4.
That should let the cat out of the bag. And stop millions of fans from their worry routine.
It appears that there is a grand design on how the storyboard should go. This also means that the recent iteration Withcher 3 is never meant to be and end-all for the franchise. Rather, successful as the release this year is, it is meant to be another chapter on what could be a much wider, broader storyline.
Of course, certain choices were made as to how the story should go. Putting those choice out this early would only spoil the full enjoyment of the game. And all the big surprises in store.
Already, a lot of churning in the rumor mill is happening as many fans are clamoring for the expansion of the action-packed third person RPG's world. Specifically, speculations are rife that the other schools for Witchers should also be featured - Bear, Griffin and Snake specially. And not just the cat school from where Geralt of Rivia belongs.
Now, with all the details in, there's no direction for The Witcher 4 to go but up.
