"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege” Updates: Phenomenal Angela Bassett as Six, first female character; Terrohunt’s back for more action!

"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege's" latest cast is none other than Angela Bassett. Finally a hot chick on Siege. The actress is the latest celeb to lend her voice for the video game and she is also the first woman character of the game... Wait, what?

Well everyone, that's apparently true. Yes, it did took so long for this game to embrace "feminism" or women with guns at least. Still the move caught a lot of flak viewed by many as a rather very late move - though not too late. Seriously employing women voices is pretty odd since women gamers have caught on so thus women characters on many games.

Anyway, no need to worry! Angela Basset plays the role of Six, the brave leader of the elite counterterrorist group in "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Now let's just say there must be a good reason for their delay.

Six, as a badass boss who run the peacekeepers certainly is good news for all the women gamers out there. A big hurrah to women power!

According to Ubisoft, the developer of the game, they've been seeking an actress to take on the role of a leader of the elite group for more action packed sequences. Six, they say, best and only fits Bassett.

However, that's not the only statement Ubisoft made. The video game developer just confirmed with Stevivor that TerroHunt is indeed making a return to Rainbow Six: Siege.

The mode has been featured in past Rainbow Six titles. Every title offers different gameplay experiences; it's certain now though that TerroHunt mode will always be in every single one of them. Thanks to the Ubisoft developer's "siege generator".

Ubisoft brought a whole lot of the latter title to share with excited fans. And to add to the excitement, they just released jaw-dropping traliers for the game - including the Bassett one. Also a new threat known as the White Masks, a terrorist hunt co-op trailer is being injected to add needed challenge.

The much anticipated game heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4; no word whether it will land on next-gen consoles. October 13 is set to be the release date for this most awaited first-person shooter game, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.
