"Vikings" Season 4 has not definite date yet regarding the release this 2016 but spoilers have already been given out such as King Ragnar Lothbrok defeating Emperor Charles in order to conquer Paris as he makes his way back after his brother Rollo betrayed him.
Previously reported, "Vikings" Season 4 will see more of King Ragnar Lothbrok after he was left for dead by his brother Rollo. He will be making a comeback and redeeming himself alongside his son Bjorn.
According to IBTimes, Ragnar, played by Travis Fimmel, will be attacking Paris in the upcoming season. Emperor Charles of France, played by Lothaire Bluteau, will have to execute more plans in order to ward off Ragnar's attacks such as when he talked to Ragnar's brother, Rollo, played by Clive Standen, to betray him in order to save his kingdom.
Series creator Michael Hirst said in a statement before that Ragnar's character should not be underestimated by the fans of the show as despite his weakening situation in the last episode of season 3, his power will overcome the life and death situation he is in. He added back then that the leader of the Vikings will be looking for a farming land in England for his people as he does not want his people to be affected by the setbacks he is facing as a leader.
Despite the spoiler that Ragnar will be defeating Emperor Charles of France, he still has tree more enemies to compete with in order to conquer the land. These are Halfdan the Black of Scandinavia, Yidu, and King Herald Finehair. It remains unknown how this characters will be hindering Ragnar from his goal.
As for the conflict between King Ragnar and Rollo, "Vikings" Season 4 will focus on the much higher level of distrust and betrayal between the brothers leading to different ramifications they are to face. Christian Today said in their report that the conflict will also be caused by the change of thinking of Rollo that is very much different from Ragnar.
"Vikings" Season 4 will premiere early 2016.
