Rise of the Tomb Raider won't suffer from being on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One

With Rise of the Tomb Raider set to be released on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, fans are growing concerned that the game's visuals may suffer from having to deal with different consoles.

Since the 360 obviously lacks the firepower of the Xbox One, fans have speculated that the game's graphics may be intentionally scaled back so as to appear the same on both platforms.

Despite the concerns, game director Brian Horton has said the much-talked about issue will not be a problem moving forward, according to Gaming Bolt.

Horton has said that with Nixxes Software focused on the Xbox 360 version of the game, and Crystal Dynamics together with Eidos Montreal at work on the Xbox One port, the game is not expected to suffer from any visual problems.

Horton also refused to offer any specifics related to the timed exclusivity tying Rise of the Tomb Raider only to Xbox consoles.

In related news, Crystal Dynamics creative director Noah Hughes said he "sympathizes" with players currently wondering when Rise of the Tomb Raider might find its way to other platforms, according to Gamer Center Online.

Hughes' comments follow in the long line of public statements concerning Rise of the Tomb Raider indicating that the title might not be available on other platforms any time soon.

Horton also indicated that the matter of Rise of the Tomb Raider appearing on other consoles was not of their concern.

Hughes was also asked about whether or not the dual-pistols would be making a return in Rise of the Tomb Raider, according to Gamepur.

Unsurprisingly, Hughes refused to go into the specifics of anything concerning the dual-pistols and only said that providing any information at this juncture could be perceived as a spoiler that might affect the game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is scheduled to be launched in November.
