Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is expected to get many viewers as it premiere this 2016. Jesse Eisenberg reveals that his take on Luthor will be "an entirely different thing." The cast of the upcoming movie will also join San Diego ComicCon this year.
According to Movie Pilot, Lex Luthor, to be portrayed by Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg, is possibly the new threat that can break the fight between Batman and Superman. However, not much is known about Eisenberg's take on the manipulating Luthor so people are still skeptical on the star being casted for the role.
International Business Times UK says Eisenberg has called his take on the iconic role as "an entirely different thing" from the way other actors, particularly Gene Hackman in the 1978 Superman film directed by Richard Donner. He states that Lex Luthor in the new film has more emotions and can be depicted as somewhat darker than the original character.
Now that Lex Luthor's role has been casted, all eyes are on the Warner Bros. San Diego Comic-Con happening this July. Last year, director Zack Snyder has shown the first trailer of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice to the eager crown, subsequently bringing Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman with him for a quick wave and hinting a much bigger Batman vs Superman presence in the next Comic-Con.
Collider confirms that Eisenberg will be present and there's no doubt Affleck, Cavill, and Gadot will be back. Although Warner Bros. has yet to confirm what will happen at Comic-Con, it is obviously going to be something important for Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.
