Finally Kung Fu Panda 3 is here set to go in full swing by early January next year. This time around, the great Kung Fu genius blessed with loads and loads of awesomeness - not mention laughter - is going to meet his very own kin, starting with his long-lost dad and ending with his own race of Pandas.
What is most romantic is he will see love eye to eye. Or is it?
Yes, for all Kung Fu Panda fanboys and girls, the trailer for this most awesome movie is out. And barring no force majeure, we should be seeing the overweight kung fu master by the 29th of January in theaters all over the US. Now, that should be one good thing waiting for all of us for 2016.
To note, Kung Fu Panda has become one of the most loved characters to every churn out of the pages of Asian folklore. And more notably, the DreamWorks-produced animated franchise has gone down as one of the most successful in the movie industry's history grossing over $600 million box-office sales in its first offering.
For this iteration, the most amiable Po meets his long-lost father Li who proceeds to bring the young master to the secret land of the Pandas.
There Po finds himself in an uneasy situation, feeling like a stranger around his kin. Then, he gets to meet a femaile panda named Mei Mei, who happens to be promised to him in one pre-arranged marriage.
That certainly freaks out poor Po who seem unable to comprehend the gravity of his situation. Then again, meeting his father could lead him to his "greatest challenge" yet.
Kung Fu Panda Po is voiced by Jack Black as before. As for the other roles, the following are the roles and the actors/actress voicing the part:
- kung fu master Shifu - Dustin Hoffman
- Monkey - Jackie Chan)
- Tigress - Angelina Jolie
- Viper - Lucy Liu
- Mantis - Seth Rogen
- and Crane (David Cross).
And what would be a story without a villain. Kung Fu Panda 3 has it in the form of supervillain Kai who has a penchant for stealing powers from defeated kung fu masters. Not if Po can't help it who proceeds to equip the Panda Nation to master kung fu as a weapon of defense.
All the fun and excitement seems packed in Kung Fu Panda 3, no doubt.
