This early, Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice's storyline may pull a lot of surprises for you. Already a lot of comparison - not to mention flak - has been thrown the DC Comics' franchise way in light of its eerie similarity with the battle of good forces in Avenger's Captain America's Civil War.
This time around you could be seeing the softer side of the egomaniacal villain that everybody loves to hate. Lex Luthor has his "emotional core" out. Well that's just what Jesse Eisenberg - the guy who will be Luthor for the movie, has to say.
However, not much is known about Jesse Eisenberg's take on Lex Luthor - the primary villain in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. His big transition from the voice behind Blu, the bird who can do nothing "bad" in Rio, to the stone-hearted, war-mongering freak in Lex Luthor is seriously a big fat transformation...or maybe not?
As reported, in his latest Batman v Superman interview, Eisenberg described his character as "an entirely different thing" from the way Gene Hackman portrayed Luthor in Richard Donner's Superman (1978). That is one twist we could not wait to take a peek into. Although that could definitely imply one big ramification on the plot as a whole.
Further, the actor explained that his take on the iconic villain in Dawn Of Justice, "has an emotional core to the character. It's not [some] silly, villainous character."
"This is a real depiction of a person who thinks these things. So the challenge is to make it seem real," he added.
Truly, that should get a lot of heads turning. Lex Luthor's all new image surely is something to watch out in the movie, predicted to be one of the biggest draws for the year to come. Along with Marvel's Captain America: Civil War.
Meanwhile, the first trailer is also drawing some flak. Missing anything right?
Yes, as many would have known by now, it missed the whole Justice League roster we all expected from this movie. Better not lose your cool though.
Speculations are rife, a second trailer is set to appear. This time it will feature other characters like Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Lex Luthor as part of the official presentation.
And in one big reveal Eisenberg also confirmed his appearance for the event, during a recent interview with Collider. Rather timely, Mr. Luthor!
Scheduled to release in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D the much-awaited DC comics flick is to go in full swing by Q1 of next year.Already set to with a budget of over $200 million, this iconic movie is expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters next year.
Starring Ben Affleck as the caped crusader and Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, March 25th, 2016 is the official date for the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice to hit theaters.
