Brightstone Invests in Mobile Realty Apps

Brightstone Venture Capital has been in the business of investments in the past three decades with interests in over eighty Minnesota enterprises. The firm focuses on technology and mobile engagement investment opportunities.

In the last quarter, Brightstone invested in a Series A equity round for Mobile Realty Apps, a mobile app platform ficused on real estate brokers, agents and MLS service providers. Established three years ago by Aaron Kardell, the company develops and manages mobile platforms for real estate agencies, with an established clientle of nearly 25 firms and 100,000 real estate agents in North America

According to Brightstone managing partner Patrick O'Shaughnessy, "We have a long history with early stage investments in the oil & gas industry and presently have a large position in the Bakken area of North Dakota. Our next investment will leverage this presence and create an exciting infrastructure business that serves a large unmet market need in that area. We are seeing a very impressive flow of well-developed investment opportunities at attractive valuations with high quality managers".
