Just one week ago, Lamar Odom's friend Jamie Sangouthai died due to a bacterial skin infection in his arm due to intravenous drug use, according to nbcmiami.com. "Due to the extent of the infection, the hospital performed surgery to deal with the infection, but the condition quickly overwhelmed what they were able to do for him," according to the coroner who investigated Sangouthai's case.
With this scenario happening, friends of Lamar Odom were worried he might not survive this uneventful fate.
