Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 Latest Teaser Hints Purple Guy Inside Costume; Scott Cawthon to Change Release Date from Halloween 2015?

By

Five Nights at Freddy's 4, with its latest teaser image, has led to more speculation on the Purple Freddy, or if it might just be a disguise of the Purple guy. More importantly, however, there are rumors about a possible change in date such that it would no longer be in Halloween of this year. Scott Cawthon, the creator of the series, has remained silent about official updates, but he has a reputation for changing details of a title in the last minute.

As previously reported here in VCPost, the most recent teaser photo leaked on Five Nights at Freddy's showed the purple bow tie and hat. This suggests that Nightmare Freddy might actually be real. There is also a broken text that reads "property of Fr-er," which is assumed to complete the phrase "property of Fredbear's Family Diner."

This leads to the assumption that a prequel story would be featured. The particular diner, through, Fazbear Entertainment is the first restaurant to become active. As has been noted in the second title of the franchise's mini-games, this place had a lot of murder incidents, particularly of children.

Apart from the storyline itself, the release date of Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is also in question as the teaser photo did not have the 10-31-15 set of digits like the other four images in the past did. This led to questions if Scott Cawthon decided to change the release date?

While this number was confirmed by many followers to be the intended release date, it could be either of two ways. First, the release date may be entirely different already. On the other hand, it might have been removed because at this point, it would have already been clear that it is already official.

Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is expected to have a Halloween release date, which will be in October 31 of this year. However, due to the omission of the date in the latest image, this information has become in question, where fans have to wait for more announcements on this matter as well as on the gameplay itself.
