'Prometheus 2' Spoilers: Ridley Scoot’s launch and casting updates; Prometheus 3 in the works?

By

Prometheus 2 finally got a dangerous sounding title, "Hell on Earth". With the full script finished, plus more alien species and whole new exciting plot this one should be one hold-on-to-your seat no-holds-barred suspense sci-fi thriller at its best. Come 2016, hopefully.

Or is it? With Ridley Scott's The Martian up and coming, this one should propel everybody once again to the possibility of life forms outside of our own.

And as is suspect, there's more to that for everyone. Even without official announcements being made, it seems movie fans' appetite leans more towards futuristic movies -especially with Mars One project on the way. And director Ridley Scott is just most willng to oblige with Prometheus 2's offering. One thing's seen, this time around we could be seeing more of our Planet Earth in this particular flick.

As the Aliens director opines, turning teasers about his plans for the movie saying: "What I'm trying to do is reintroduce a fresher form of alien" So that should be one intense battle like Arnold Schwarzenegger's Predator.

Well, the man who gave us those large-headed extraterrestrial acid-salivating monsters should know better. Than most of us, at least.

Not only that, of course. Certainly a lot of you may have been left hanging by the prequel "Prometheus." Those questions won't be left unanswered, thank goodness. Speculations are rife the promise of Prometheus 2 brings along a slew of answers.

As for cast updates, here's a loadsome. Well, Android David (Michael Fassbender) who was decapitated in the first movie and Dr. Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) should back at it again, reprising their roles and joining the gang in this iteration.

But as rumors have it, David, might come back just as a head - not entirely impossible since he's but a higher form mechanical robot. And then some.

For some spoilers! There's strong indication Dr Shaw's character might die sometime within the movie. But no worries, since it would pave a way for another female character. Cool!

All of those will happen in a three part movie. In its conclusion, Dr. Shaw along with David will reportedly look for "Paradise," the home of the Engineers. Rumors doing the rounds suggest that a discovery about the Engineers' origins will unveil as they will reveal to be a creation of a much more superior force.

Now does that mean the Engineers are confirmed to come back for Prometheus 2? How about the Xenomorphs?

Well they're on a pretty critical state. It's been announced that they won't be back on Prometheus 2. Don't say your final goodbyes though since it's still not official.

Well, yes, those are a lot of unofficial announcements. Just be patient since the movie's production is still really not on its full swing yet. But one thing's good to know; Nimrod Antal and Neill Blomkamp ensured that the movie will be different from any other, hinting of a "Prometheus 3" in mind.

Again no official announcements were made about the film's release date yet. But what's more certain is it's more likely than not that you'll have to wait for less than a year. Which is not too hard, right?

March 4, 2016 is the rumored launching for Prometheus 2.
