"Bates Motel" has already been renewed for Season 4 although there have been spoilers announced ahead of the revelation of A&E. Season 5 has also been given the greenlight as per the announcement so fans of the show are to expect the fifth installment of the series by 2017.
A&E's Executive Vice President and General Manager, Rob Sharenow, said in a statement that their creative team was able to expose the "steady breakdown of the relationship between Norman and Norma Bates. Due to this, he added that they are excited to bring the fans of the show to two more seasons to witness the next stages of Norman's transformation via cinematic history, Cross Map reported.
In another interview, "Bates Motel" co-creator and executive producer Carlton Cuse revealed their plans for the upcoming seasons of the show. He shared as of the moment they already have a clear plan of where they want to take the show as it progresses to its inevitable conclusion, UPI reported. Just a recap, "Bates Motel" Season 3 showed Sheriff Alex Romero shooting Bob while the latter attempted to escape. Norman Bates was also seen killing Bradley Martin as he was in the middle of a delusion that he was his mother Norma. Caleb already left town while Emma and Dylan become more romantic as the former is awaiting her lung transplant.
"Bates Motel" season 4 will reportedly be focusing on Norman and him being all the more psychotic as his mother tries to stop him from snapping further. According to Guardian Liberty Voice, the upcoming 20 more episodes will start its production later this year.
"Bates Motel" season 3 wrapped up just this May. Season 4 of the A&E show is set to premiere this 2016 while Season 5 will be coming to your T.V. screens this 2017 although the definite dates are yet to be confirmed.
