Latest breakthrough technology, Microsoft HoloLens will bring the world as we know it right at the palm of our hands. No it's beyond virtual reality, it's definitelyl not taking you off the real plane rather it's groundbreaking AR (Augmented Reality) holographic device which could change the way we see the world - at the flick of a finger.

Top honcho, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella did not minced words to show his delight appreciating the device describing it as "unbelievably cool." In more ways than one, this phenomenal gadget's some work of a genius truly, understanding movements, gaze and voice - enables us to interact with much content and information naturally.

As reported, NASA has found so much use for the device it plans to bring two Microsoft HoloLens headset to space. So this time around the newest AR headset technology from Microsoft is bound to go beyond just globe-trotting but will go the extent of space exploration and interplanetary conquest - though for the most part it's but baby steps.

The impressive device is scheduled to launch aboard SpaceX's next planned resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS) in space on June 28. Cool!

"Our team is excited to be building virtual and mixed reality tools that will make our explorers more efficient and effective," said Jeff Norris, project lead for Sidekick and OnSight, NASA.

Needless to say, gadget's bound to be of great help. The keyword's efficiency.as astronauts will be able to navigate and explore paperless technology using Microsoft HoloLens, easing up their task in conducting reports and tabulating records. As part of Project Sidekick, the gadget will help them run tests aboard the ISS.

Aside from space, NASA is set to utilize the Hololens devices again in another frontier: underwater habitat. For two weeks the world's only undersea research station, Aquarius, will be the place for engineers and astronauts to conduct yet another tests on the AR headgears during NEEMO expedition 20.

That should show a lot of promise for gamers worldwide. Microsoft HoloLens should provide a never-before-seen experience in gaming, a next-level interaction. And more ka-ching for Microsoft.

However, Microsoft has yet to reveal how much these devices would cost or when it may be released. One things' certain Microsoft HoloLens rocks!
