Persona 5 Solid Release Date Reveal Possibly in August? 2nd Gameplay Trailer Leaks Major Plot Spoilers

Although, Persona 5 is already announced to hit North America this coming Winter 2015, a more solid release date for the fifth installment of the franchise is yet to be confirmed and some interesting speculation surfaced online recently, suggesting that such announcement of details will be happening in August.

According to Game Zone, a past historical evidence would support this as an accurate information on when fans can receive a concrete release details for Persona 5 next month.Conventionally, the game's latest series comes with its own magazines published on the same month of the game's launching.

To cite such instance was when magazine issued in spring hit the shelves four days following the release of PQ in Japan. Another was when the September issue of the said magazine also became available on the same day that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax outed and just recently, the July 2015 issue was released alongside Persona 4 Dancing All Night.

Based on a loose translation of a captured image shared by the same site indicates that the Next Persona Magazine issue will be unveiled by Winter 2015, though, this could be exposed to some changes. Hence, there's a great possibility that Persona 5 will land a winter launching, most likely, in the month of December.

Moreover, the team developer of Persona game franchise, P Studio, is identifiably making announcement of release dates four months ahead of the game's service launch. Needless to say, it is safe to assume that gamers might get an exact arrival date in August.

Meanwhile, Design & Trend reports that the 2nd Persona 5 gameplay trailer has been leaked in Japan that revealed major plot spoilers to expecting American fans. The purported video has shown a mysterious jailer who snagged the game's thief hero, however, the answer to fan's question as to why such is the case is yet to be unraveled.

Persona Central wrote that the leaked trailer was courtesy of Dailymotion but because the release of the footage is not official, it was removed and can no longer be viewed on YouTube.

In the said video, some uknown demonic voice served as a narrator and the dialogue is described to be persuading the captured protagonist to become a vigilante and rescue the society. Then it is shown how the major character evolved into a persona-esque appearance

The voice is then heard saying, "That's as it should be. I am you, and you are I. For the sake of the justice you believe in, make the blasphemers repent."

Developed by P Studio and published by Atlus, Persona 5 is the fifth main title to the game series and is set to launch on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita both in Japan and North America by December 2015.
