No doubt, Beyonce and Jay Z's On The Run tour wrapped up in North America as an overwhelming success cornering over $100 million gross in ticket sales. Fact is it will go down in history as the 5th top grossing tour of 2014. Now, with that nugget settled, the rumor mill is a-buzz the power couple is setting their sights unto a collab album. This early, pundits are putting their bets on the line, it would be one helluva Illuminati-littered mega-album.
Raking $100 million in ticket sales for just 19 shows is a pretty impossible mark, for most commoners that is. But not for Jayonce. Seriously, rumors of poor ticket sales really should die a natural death by now.
Going strictly by the numbers - $100 million: 19 shows - Forbes.com named Beyonce and Jay's tour the second most successful tour of all time based on gross revenue per show. It has also sold more than 90 percent capacity with an attendance of more than 850,000, according to Omar Al-Joulani, VP of North American touring for Live Nation, the promoter/producer of the tour.
Now, don't be surprised if those records are just astounding, here's a breakdown. The power couple's performances are reported to be earning over $5.2 million per show. With an average attendance of nearly 45, 000 per show.
Well, what is most surprising is that those staggering numbers did not come with much preparation. According to reports, the planning for the tour didn't last for a year, a timeframe which is standard for most stadium tour. But no problemo obviously that did not materialize into an issue for the multimillionaire duo, ticket sales proved that.
With those seemingly larger than life figures, what else is next? It seems all roads point to a Jay Z-Beyonce collaboration album, which could be the biggest thing yet their awesome career can offer.
And that should be timely, now that Jay-Z's Tidal music online streaming seem out of breath, pleading for its life with heavy competition stacking up - Apple Music most notably.
And yes, the internet is breaking once again detailing how a Jayonce album is going to be plagued with Illuminati undertones. Latest performances in 2015 Grammy's is not helping at all either, with all the eerie vibe the power courple raised. A closer look and Jayonce along with the other stars seem to be performing some sort of a ritual - right in front of the crowd. Yikes!
Consequently, numerous takes branded that awards night a new name: The Illuminati Awards. And because of their apparent boldness, many are in the conclusion their next tour might be even bolder, that they will own up to it, revealing to the world their Illuminati ties.
Or is this all but one grandstanding? Really, only time will tell if Beyonce and Jay Z will pull a fast one.
