The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is no stranger to leaks where the latest leaked image comes from Chinese tipster @KJuma. It was allegedly taken within the manufacturing facility that joined the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 among other hardware.
The leaked image shows that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 features a blue frame that surrounds the Smartphone, which looks like a departure from the normal white color that decked the flagship models from Xiaomi in the past.
According to the leaked image, the Redmi Note 2 specs include a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 (previously rumoured to be Full HD resolution), a Snapdragon 410 MSM8919 quad-core processor, and a 13-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There have also been rumors which claim that this will be running Android 5.0 or 5.1 Lollipop with Xiaomi's MIUI and will have a 3000+ mAh battery.
Furthermore, previous leaks propose that the fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera and the LED Flash will be featured in this phablet. A 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, as well as a MediaTek's latest Helio X10 (MT6795) chipset under the hood are likely to be featured here in Redmi Note 2as well. There is still few opposing reports which state the upcoming phablet will be powered by a Snapdragon 410 (MSM8919) processor.
A 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage have also been tipped by the earlier rumors, but this was shortly downgraded to 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD). Nevertheless, as usual, we'll verify out that until the phone is officially announced, all of the aforementioned information is yet unconfirmed. Many Redmi Note fans are still hoping that the specs will be of a higher grade than those leaked so far. Even though the Redmi Note 2 will is being keenly anticipated.
Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun announced on the Chinese social medial platform Weibo that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 smartphone will launch June 29. However, the company didn't hold any launch event on the said date. Hence, those who wait for the Mi Note Pro or the Redmi Note 2 launching on the given date possibly got disappointed.
However, it is a sure thing that there's not too much longer time to wait until some announcement will confirm Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 price, specs, and release details.
