The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt free DLC for this week includes a new sidequest called Where the Cat and Wolf Play while the anticipated release of Patch 1.05 for Xbox One and PS4 consoles is now live and available for download.
This is the 7th week of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's free DLC rollout where the new sidequest will be the 13th of 16 pieces of the free downloadable expansions for PS 4, Xbox One, and PC.
"Explore a forgotten village and discover its terrifying secret. Find out who or what slaughtered its inhabitants and use all your witcher skills to confront this mysterious force," reads the description about the quest.
Reports say that after the update is applied, playesr will find a new witcher contract in Oreton village where he saves the citizens of the nearby city of Honorton from a monster which is called Spook. Where the Cat and Wolf Play was announced last Tuesday from the game's official Twitter page.
In the meantime, Patch 1.05 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is now live, although, Patch 1.07 for PC is still on its way. CD Projekt RED Community & Website Coordinator Marcin Momot has provided a full list on the latest changes and fixes on the dark fantasy video game via CD Projekt RED online forum:
- Gold will no longer reset beyond 65535
- Fixes lack of interaction with Roche on Oxenfurt Bridge in the quest 'Get Junior'
- Geralt's clothes will no longer be wet after leaving the menu
- The gate in the crypt now works correctly during the quest 'Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear'
- Fixes the endless loading screen when fighting the Ice Giant during the quest 'Lord of Undvik'
- Mutagen bonuses will now be saved properly.
- Potion of Clearance will no longer be automatically placed into the quick slot if player runs out of other edibles
- Fixes issue where some skills were not removed properly by Potion of Clearance
- Improves stability in gameplay and the UI
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is developed using the new REDengine 3 technology and the third installment of the widely popular The Witcher game series. It was released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on May 19 where it sold over four million copies in two weeks after release date.
