The Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of the legality of same-sex marriage. A lot of celebrities gave their reaction including Ariana Grande. The Singer called-out the attention of the four Supreme Court justices who voted against marriage equality during her performance at the Dance on the Pier 26 in New York last June.
Ariana Grande was one of the performers for the Gay Pride event in New York. The 22 year old "Break Free" singer, in her sexy latex ensemble, called out to the crowd to support same-sex marriage. She also asked the crowd what they think about the four Supreme Court justices who opposed the decision on the legality of same-sex marriage, according to Just Jared.
The young lady singer-performer revealed last year her love for her gay brother, Frankie, who she looked up to because he grew up doing musical theatre and inspired her to do same and pursue music with utmost passion. Ariana Grande stood up and supported her gay brother all throughout that , well in fact, when Catholic church started questioning beliefs about men being gay, she reconsider another religion, MTV reported.
With the US Supreme Court announcement about marriage equality, true enough that it went really viral and captured a lot of expressed opinions from citizens and celebrities like Ariana Grande. Entertainment Weekly shared the celebrities reaction how "Love won," and how gays and lesbians will be grateful that, finally, it is now equal.
Ariana Grande might be one of the few who strongly support the movement because of her encounter and inspiration from her gay brother thus she has never been afraid to express much of opinion about her thoughts, beliefs and how religion made her re-think choices when it comes to gender equality and its rights enveloping.
