Microsoft Corp. is building an adaptive user interface for Windows 10 making their universal apps easier to access across PC, phones, and even TV screen connected through Xbox One. Recently, the company reveals that they will have Xbox One running Windows 10 core allowing developers to bring apps and games from Windows' PC and Phone to their latest console.

At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Microsoft technical leader for the Universal Apps Kevin Gallo, demonstrates Windows 10 on Xbox One. But this evolution of technology is rather quite predictable.

Some of the Xbox One owners anticipated this already. Xbox One OS is very similar to Windows 8. So at first, they don't feel the big difference of overhauling the Xbox One. During the group interview in Redmond, Washington, Microsoft XBox leader Philip Spencer proclaims the changes of Xbox One kernel from Windows 8 to the Windows 10 with the monthly update of the console.

Most of Xbox enthusiast are expecting more from Xbox. They could even imagine having Air Shuffle controls, and the high-tech mind control to manuever the games easily.

"I know a lot of people are excited about things like Cortana and other features they see on Windows 10. Obviously getting on the Windows 10 kernel -- well, it's not really the kernel -- but Windows 10 OS inside of Xbox One is an important first step to unlock a lot of what [Microsoft's Joe Belfiore] showed." he added.

The apps that will be able to run on Xbox are versatile. Traditional programs of Microsoft such as Microsoft Office and Adobe won't come to the Xbox One. The main point of the entire concept is to allow the users to play games in any platform. The console will provide the ability of cross-device multiplayer where players can play the console game against opponents in the different device. They are dealing the challenge of compatibility.

Microsoft structured Windows 10 with common core services that are capable of running underneath to the broad variety of devices. It also includes the UI issues of porting the app from 5" touchscreen smartphone to the huge resolution of Xbox One running Windows 10. Microsoft means of "universal apps" a cross-device support.
