Many viewers and critics expect a lot from 'Scream Queens'. Some cast members already told everyone that there is nothing to worry about. And just recently, actress Keke Palmer reveals that Ryan Murphy's latest project will be as 'brutal' as 'American Horror Story'. But unlike 'AHS', the upcoming show will leave 4 survivors at the end of season 1.
Fox's upcoming 'Scream Queens' will be an anthology with a twist. Thus, many are expecting a lot from this show. Given that the series has 'A-list' cast including Skyler Samuels, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande, Abigail Breslin, Oliver Hudson and Diego Boneta; and, the sought-after writer Ryan Murphy, 'Scream Queens' has it in spades.
Moreover, actress Keke Palmer assures that the first season will be as brutal as the 'American Horror Story'. She said in an interview by Entertainment Weekly, "I think that he is keeping that same, heightened, extreme grounded-ness. How he does it, I have no idea. But that is very much so a part of Scream Queens. And also, the comedy. He finds the balance in light of the dark. It's fun to play."
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Murphy told that 'Scream Queens' is similar to his previous work in FX, 'American Horror Story'.
But unlike 'American Horror Story', the series creator says that the end of the first season of 'Scream Queens' will only leave 4 characters alive to proceed to the next season. Billboard reports that the four surviving characters will continue to play the same character when and if a likely second season is ordered. This is far different from 'AHS' where so far Lily Rabe has been the only actor to reprise the same character from one to succeeding seasons.
As early as today, many are betting that the 4 survivors will be the characters of Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts ad Abigail Breslin. But others also have other characters on their list.
What are your expectations on this show? Who do you think will be the 4 survivors of 'Scream Queens' season 1?
