Players will once again immerse in the millieu of Greek Mythological events and role play as the ex-Spartan warrior Kratos to fight against Hades' dark spell and climb over Mount Olympus to take some revenge.
As reported earlier, pre-ordering God of War 3 Remastered has been up since May 26 and brings some bonus goodies. Such deals to digital buyers include a free 90-day rental of God of War and the game sequel at PlayStation Now. Players will be allowed to stream PlayStation Now library of games to several Sony devices including PS3, PSVita, and PlayStation TV.
Also, both physical and digital purchases will be receiving the "God of War - Fall of Olympus" PlayStation 4 theme. Same as The Last of Us Remastered release last year, God of War 3 remastered will have a photo mode to freeze the brutal action mid-swing as a much better choice to the less impressive PS4 screenshot feature.
In related news, Sony has confirmed to participate at GamesCom 2015 this August where fans and games pundits alike look forward to the release announcement details for the highly anticipated sequel, God of War 4, which was apparently a no show at E3 last month.
For the time being, GOW game aficionados can watch out for the God of War 3 Remastered set to release as a PS4 exclusive title on July 14.
