Chicago Fire EP Confirms Casey Didn’t Have a Full-Blown Affair with Murdered Stripper Katya; NBC Series 4th Season Premieres October

By

Chicago Fire ended with such a cliff-hanger that fans cannot stop thinking about what will happen next. There are simply a lot of questions and the NBC TV series is still roughly three months away as the season 4 premiere is slated for an October 13, 2015 premiere. What could have happened to Casey, and where is he? Is Dawson really pregnant?

The good news is that the fourth season of Chicago Fire will surely appease these queries as Matt Olmstead drops some bread crumbs about what's to come. At the same time, he is narrowing the possibilities for the characters as he verifies which are bound to happen and which aren't.

During the finale of Chicago Fire Season 3, the dead body of the stripper, Katya was on the floor of Casey's apartment. It was Dawson who saw this when she was planning to tell Casey the results of her pregnancy test. According to the interview the executive producer had with TVLine, Katya was not where she is because of personal reasons.

Although the two had moments where they flirted, Olmstead affirmed that "Casey and Katya were never meant to have a full-blown affair."

When it comes to the possible pregnancy of Gabby, big changes are likely to arrive should it hold positive. For one thing, she will not be able to retain her ace firefighter role in Chicago Fire because of the new responsibility.

As it was in the policy in Firehouse 51 for pregnant firefighters, the EP replied, "They'll fall back to Ambo. The alternative is getting a desk job in the fire department while you're still pregnant. So of the many things she's dealing with is the fact that she'd have to be reassigned off the truck."

Chicago Fire will see its return in NBC for the fourth season on October 13, 2015. A new character will be added, so this is just one of the many things fans should look forward to in the succeeding weeks.
