Many fans of Sameen Shaw are eager to see more of her in 'Person of Interest' Season 5. Although actress has not confirmed her comeback to the show, it seems like Sarah Shashi is ready to do it. Recent reports reveal that she will guest star to the other CBS TV series 'Ray Donovan' for Season 3 before she reprises her role in POI.
When actress Sarah Shashi took her pregnancy leave before 'Person of Interest' Season 4 ends, one of the big questions on POI fans lips though is when will Sameen Shaw be returning. Of course, the show revealed that Shaw wasn't dead, but she was possibly on enemies' side after she was brainwashed.
Creator Johan Nolan revealed, via Mstarz, that the actress will be back when she's ready. But at this time it's still unknown. Nolan said, "Our deal with Sarah is that when she's excited to come back, we're excited to have her. We have a killer storyline for how her character comes back into the universe of our show. We're ready to roll with that just as soon as she is."
But after months of waiting, actress Sarah Shashi is ready to return on TV screens. But before reprising her role as Sameen Shaw in 'Person of Interest' Season 5, she will first appear in the third season of the TV series 'Ray Donovan' on the same network, CBS.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shahi will play Hasmig, an Armenian pop star, opposite Kate Moennig, who plays Ray's assistant Lena. Slated to appear in one episode, this makes it an L Word reunion between Shahi and Moennig. The series will premiere on Sunday, July 12.
It has already been confirmed that 'Person of Interest' Season 5 has been renewed alongside NCIS, The Good Wife and other shows. Fans can have a sigh of relief but it still seems the life of the show is on the line because it's renewed but with only 13 episodes.
To find out more about the series and what the people of 'Person of Interest' have to say about the Season 5, the cast and crew will be taking over SDCC 2015 on July 11.
