Xiaomi is currently pestered with unwanted information leaking all over the internet on their yet to be released products including the Redmi Note 2. The information that is easily available includes release dates, specs, prices, and more. On the other hand, no one knows if Xiaomi has something to do with this to help the hype of their about to be released products.
According to Gadgets NDTV, one of Xiaomi's upcoming leaked products that now is all over the internet is the latest addition to their Note family, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. The leaked information reveals that the latest device will not veer too far away from its older brother as it is will still be in line with the Redmi Note's smartphone design.
The newest gadget will showcase the following features: 5.5 inch Full HD at 1080 x 1920 pixels display, a 13-megapixel back camera and 5-megapixel front camera, a larger battery plus a 4G LTE connectivity. It will also be equipped with a MediaTek's Helio X10 chipset processor.
Phonearena has reported that the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 passed China's TENAA, however, the fingerprint scanner was scratched, which is not a deal breaker for the smartphone. The Note 2 will not also have any metal elements and will boast a powerful back loudspeaker. The newest Xiaomi Redmi Note will also run on Android 4.4 KitKat with the MIUI 6 user interface.
The phone is also rumored to be sold at $130 each which is relatively low compared to its competitors such as Samsung and iPhone. It is set to hit the stands in Q2 of 2015 and will be available in black, white, red, orange, yellow, blue and purple, Whatech wrote.
Xiaomi's Redmi Note 2 proves that not everything that is pricey is a good buy. With its impressive features and affordability, it will surely give the leaders of the phablet world a good fight. Xiaomi also gives a great example for other manufacturers that they can come up with a very promising product that can compete with the leaders in both performance and price.
