Vin Diesel's transformation in two posters released at the Comic Con for The Last Witch Hunter intrigued fans. While Elijah Wood has revealed that he's a fan of witches and hinted that he knows one intimate witch secret from years ago.
Two new poster have been released last comic con for The Last Witch Hunter showing photos of Vin Diesel as the immortal Kaulder from centuries ago and the other from the modern day.
In one photo, it shows Diesel almost unrecognizable with a long beard and mohawk hair, with a sword in front of him. He appears to be sitting on a throne filled with roots, swords, and other weapons around him. The words "LIVE FOREVER" are written in the poster between the movie's title and its release date.
While in another photo, Diesel can be seen sitting on the throne, with the sword still in front of him, but is looking good, with his face clean shaven, and wearing a nice fitting suit. This time, the words "HUNT FOREVER" are written between the title and the release date.
The movie will focus on Diesel's Kaulder in his continuous haunt for witches that plague the world. Kaulder is the last witch hunter that is made immortal through the Queen Witch's spell before she died. Kaulder has spent centuries haunting down witches, and in present time, he will face the Queen Witch again, after she has somehow resurrected. After centuries of fighting evil, he will once again face his toughest enemy in a fight that will determine humanity's fate.
Meanwhile, another member of the cast, Elijah Wood, revealed his liking for witches. "I'm actually a real fan of witches," he said.
He added that he wants to see more of them in movies saying, "There's another witch movie coming out in around October or November called 'The Witch.' It's also very good. So we might see this as a cycle, which I would be fine with because I just feel like no one is exploring witches. They're terrifying."
While its apparently not just that as he also revealed a witch secret from ages ago, "There was a salve that they used to put on brooms that would make them high. And they would sit on the broomstick, which would then go into their bloodstream, if you know what I mean, and it would make these women high," Wood said.
"That's where the myth behind the flying witch comes from: a real application of this sort of hallucinogen. It's awesome. We don't get into that in 'The Last Witch Hunter,' however." he added.
The Last Witch Hunter also stars Rose Leslie, Olafur Dari Olafsson, Julie Engelbrecht, and Rena Owen. It is directed by Breck Eisner, and will soon hit theaters in October 23, 2015.
