Instart Logic Raises Additional US$17M Funding

In an announcement by Instart Logic, it was disclosed that the company was able to secure US$17 million financial infusion coming from its Series B fundraising round.

Rising from the shadows, the Mountain View, California based Instart Logic was able to increase the company's funding to US$26 million. The company is using the finances in creating a cloud-based solution to aid mobile web applications operations. Investments came from Tenaya Capital, Greylock Partners, Andreessen Horowitz and Greylock Partners with additional investments coming from leaders of Silicon Valley.

Instart Logic is a provider of cloud-based services for publishers in the web that significantly improves the experience of web users even if they are surfing through their mobile phones or through WIFI networks.

Peter Levine, partner at Andreessen Horowitz commented, "Today's web and mobile users expect near instant delivery of applications, but the explosion of apps combined with the proliferation of mobile devices has resulted in debilitating performance issues that degrade the user experience. Enter Instart Logic, which has developed a unique and elegant solution that was built from the ground up to resolve the mobile bottleneck and transform the user experience."
