Cody Simpson is tangled in a love triangle with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas just after breaking his silence on Gigi and Joe's new relationship. The ex-lovers were seen kissing at a party.

The model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid and the Aussie pop star were spotted kissing at the D'Angelico Guitars party last week. According to Page Six, the old flames kissed each other more than once and were being very affectionate with each other. But quickly, the 20-year-old Hadid put those rumors to rest and proved she's absolutely smitten with her new beau Joe Jonas, 25, come Sunday as the two joined forces to attend the PlentiTogether Live event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

Earlier last week at a Ralph Lauren presentation in the Big Apple, E! News got a chance to chat with the Gold Coast-born beach boy. He was adamant that everything is alright with him notwithstanding the fact that his ex-girlfriend has a new flame.

Cody said that he is cool about it. They all have mutual friends in New York and it is all cool. He added that he has a mature outlook on the potentially-awkward situation.

Recently, Simpson has been rumored to be drunk dialing Hadid, begging to give him another try. But in a DuJour interview the 18-year-old admitted he still has love for his former flame. However, their high-profile relationship was taking a toll on him, mentally and creatively.

He said: "I love my ex-girlfriend, I always will. It was an amicable, mutual decision, and we still talk every now and then, but the highly publicized thing made me uncomfortable," he says. "Going out to dinner and there being all this paparazzi and stuff.... as soon as we split I had the realization that I was straying away from who I was as a whole person. I want to keep it low key, and focus on my music."

Whilst Gigi has seemingly moved on from their break up, Cody is staying focused on his music. He released his second album called Free earlier this month, marking a possible turning point of self-discovery in his career.
