CyberConnect 2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama has shed more details on Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Story Mode at the the recently concluded Japan Expo in Paris. Meanwhile, new screenshots have revealed Team Awakening feature where Naruto's Karuma form was seen.
In his interview with YouTube channel J-Patrol as reported by Push Square, the top executive has confirmed that the final main title of the Ultimate Ninja Storm series will be directed completely at the conclusion of the Naruto Shippuden events. This only means that the story mode for the game will follow the happening from Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 that was released on 2013 for PS3.
This said 10-hour long story mode will also add other modes of play that haven't been known as of this time and the developer is reportedly working on how to put the narrative events in a nutshell so that those new players won't be lost in the game.
Meanwhile, new screenshots have been shared online revealing the new Team Awakening feature included in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 release. In the 34th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, it is reported that the game feature will let the players trigger Team Awakening for all members of the team.
The screenshots show Naruto's Kurama form, the activated Sasuke with Susanoo, and unleashed Sakura with Byakugō. The magazine has confirmed that players will have the ability activate Team Awakenings after the Storm Gauge is filled.
The game will also feature Kaguya Otsutsuki, the first user and mother of all chakra known as the final villain of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga. Historical battles are also expected such as Naruto and Sasuke fighting Madara, and Team Minato's sparring against Minato Namikaze.
In earlier reports, Rikudo Madara who is also called Six Paths Madara and Junchuriki Madara will also be a playable in this new game. Madara will have a part in an epic boss battle where Naruto and Sasuke is going to defeat him.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the latest and final entry in the Naturo fighting game series which is developed by Cyberconnect2 for Bandai Namco Entertainment. Cyberconnect2 has worked on all Naruto Ultimate Ninja games, where it has released 16 Naruto games since 2003.
The Ultimate Ninja Storm series is one of the most popular franchises of Bandai Namco and that this game is an ultimate realization of the game's franchise. Deemed to the final entry to the game series, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is yet to be confirmed for a Fall release date to hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe.
