It was announced that Clairevest Group Inc. (Clairevest), Clairevest Equity Partners IV-A Limited Partnership and Clairevest Equity Partners IV Limited Partnership put together US$15 million to invest into Virginia's County Waste. Clairevest's part of the investment was at US$4 million.
County Waste is based in West Point. Virginia. The company is a privately owned regional solid waste management company that provides services to industrial, residential and commercial areas. The CEO of County Waste, Scott Earl is a former partner of Clairevest at its Hudson Valley Waste Holding, Inc firm. The investment of Clairevest with County Waste is its third investment in the industry of solid waste management. Since 2005, solid waste management is the core business of Clairevest.
Managing Director of Clairevest, Micheal Castellarin said, "We look forward to our partnership with Scott who is an experienced and successful entrepreneur.
