Marvel Studios' 'Ant-Man' had a great opening this past weekend dominating the film 'Trainwreck.' Bloomberg quoted Gitesh Pandya "The reviews have been good, and word of mouth has been good, so it should have a good long life." 'Ant-Man' made a $114 million income worldwide as Disney stated.
Paul Rudd, who played the title role shared his experience on how to achieve his hero-like body. "I didn't do anything fun for a year. I ate no carbs or sugar. I basically made health and fitness the focus of my day, for a long time. I was eating a lot of protein and vegetables. I was eating at very specific times of the day and I didn't drink any alcohol," Rudd said.
The 'Ant-Man' star stated that he 'took the Chris Pratt approach to training for an action movie.' According to Variety, Paul Rudd said that for you to play hero, you should eliminate fun for a year, and by doing so, he had a one miserable year.
Paul Rudd was thankful Marvel gave him a chance to be part of the movie, even giving him the lead role. "The majority of my career has been doing comedies, and I was always that guy, so I completely understand. Playing a comic book character is different from anything I have ever done before, and that was a huge appeal to me. I wanted to do something unexpected."
