Fallout 3, no questions, became memorable to all adventurous alike. Now, Bethesda releases a continuation to the epic franchise. As done in the previous installment of the series, Fallout 4 is held on a post-apocalyptic setting, with all the action waiting to be discovered.
As further elaborated in techradar, the setting of the game is an interesting one to start off discussing. There will be a diversity of places that need to be explored, but Boston, Massachusetts is the staple location of Fallout 4. To add to the game's interesting plot, gameplay itself will start during the apocalyptic day. Escaping the said tragedy, the character will hide, waking up roughly 2 centuries later without aging.
A lot of firsts are bound to be experienced in the game. Seen in Trusted Reviews, the villain of the story will start to speak, in oppose to the other series wherein the protagonist basically does not. Another first is the addition wherein the player can construct and customize structures in the field, but is still at risk of being marauded by the enemies. On the retained side, a canine companion will still be included to aid in the journey. Little detail to remember-the dog technically cannot die, which will come in handy in taking down the bad guys. The true objective of the character is to figure out why and how the aging came to a halt, alongside the other smaller and more detailed missions.
Tackling more of Fallout 4 features, the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System is now utilized with a different approach. It no longer "stops" time entirely to help the player aim, instead, it slows down to a reasonable point that it will still be useful during shooting. A nifty spec as well to take note of would be the armor, which was showcased in the trailer of Fallout 4, seen on Gamespot.
There are still a lot of updates to look forward to and perhaps comment on before the release of Fallout 4 for next-gen consoles is on November 10, 2015. That being said, fans, themselves, could also use a slumber as they wait.
