Considered as the world's most advanced fitness wearable, MOOV NOW is the latest offering from MOOV. It is a fitness tracking smart wearable designed to work as an artificial intelligence coach.
According to a tech report published on Tech Times, MOOV NOW is deemed as an upgraded version of the company's original wearable MOOV, which was launched in the year 2014. While it is capable of performing everything that the original could, MOOV NOW comes with additional functionalities and features making it a top of the line and well-rounded smart fitness tracker.
The company also stated that their recently launched fitness wearable will not only track the number of miles ran, but will also provide the users with vital recommendations about ways to improve their movement and poses.
Meng Li, co-founder and CEO of MOOV explained the upgrade as caused by an injury she had during a work out.
"I researched and came across concerns and apprehensions of many folks, who actually are enduring ankle problems caused by running", she said.
To put it simply, if a runner's or jogger's landing impact is way too hard, then MOOV NOW will ask him/her to land gently, pick up pace or curb footsteps. MOOV Now will offer real-time fitness feedbacks with vital insights for every workout - be it swimming, running, jogging, etc. This makes it a smart artificial intelligence coach.
Further, the smartly built packed sensors help to give out visual and audio guides to its users. The three core sensors in the wearable include magnetic meter, gyroscope and accelerometer. Magnetic meter taps the earth's magnetic field to determine the direction a user is moving.
MOOV is set to release a smartphone app for the wearable soon. The app will work with both Android as well as iOS devices and it will feature specific sport modes to choose from such as cardio boxing, running, swimming, cycling and so on.
Its fully waterproof and comes with a battery which is good to go for six long months, claims the company. The device even provides sleep-tracking feature and will hit the stores in four colors namely fusion red, aqua blue, blizzard white and stealth black.
Currently available at a freaking cheap pre-order price of $59 from its official website, the original price would be $99 after it hits the market. Shipping is expected to begin in fall.
