Saban Capital Opened Office in Singapore

In an announcement, leading global media and communications investment firm Saban Capital Group disclosed that its fully owned subsidiary Saban Capital Group (Asia) Pte Ltd. had opened a new office in Singapore.

Saban Capital Group started investing in Asia in 2012 and was able to put up five portfolio investment all in the media industry. From the Hong Kong office of Saban Capital Group, Sumeet Jaisinghani will be relocated to Singapore to head the new headquarters. In 2008, Mr. Jaisinghani joined the Saban Group Capital and ever since then he had been involved with the entire firm's investment particularly in Asia.

President and Chief Operating Officer of Saban Capital Group, Adam Chesnoff, said, "The opening of our office in Singapore highlights our continued focus on expanding our investment presence in Asia and, in particular, the increased emphasis that we have placed on Southeast Asia and India. We believe that our approach as strategic investors in media and communications, with a permanent base of capital, provides significant differentiation and added value to leading entrepreneurs and business groups in the region."
