Crooner Sam Smith showed off his recent weight loss in an Instagram post and many are pointing out that he is looking thinner than ever. The Grammy winner has been documenting his weight loss journey via Instagram, sharing photos and recipes of his nutritious meals and the details around his detox program.
The 23-year-old "Stay With Me" singer posted a rather skinny photo of himself on Instagram over the weekend to show off a painful sunburn he got while in sunny Miami last week. The singer songwriter recently lost an exceptional amount of weight at a rate that isn't realistic or safe for most people: 14 pounds in 14 days, according to a recent Instagram announcement.
He has made the transformation possible with the help of nutritionist Amelia Freer, who is the author of the best-selling book, "Eat. Nourish. Glow". The U.K.-based certified nutritional therapist has made it big overseas (and on Instagram, where she has over 31,500 followers).
Her credo is clean eating, which, from the looks of her blog, means eating lots of healthy fats like coconut oil and olive oil; dairy alternatives made from nuts or seeds; dark leafy greens like broccoli, kales, and Brussels sprouts; spicy flavors like cinnamon, chili, and turmeric; and organic, humanely raised meats, poultry, and fish.
Freer creates a dietary and lifestyle plan for each client; sometimes suggests psychotherapy to sort out food-related emotional issues; works with chefs to cook organic, locally and ethically sourced ingredients; and hand delivers delicious-looking meals. Aside from eating healthy, Sam Smith has also been frequenting the gym.
Smith's game plan of eating healthy and regular exercise is helping him whittle his waistline and is giving him a major transformation.
