Vivantes and Aamal Form Joint Venture

Aamal Company, the Qatari conglomerate has entered into a joint venture agreement with Vivantes International Medicine, the largest hospital consortium from Germany.

The new joint venture agreement would be building an outpatient medical center located in Doha, according to a company statement. The outpatient center would be operated by Vivantes and would provide clinical and diagnostic services with visiting professors from Germany that would be consultants for patients in Qatar.

Aamal would also be working with Al Faisal without Borders Association to operate a nursing school that would be built in several underdeveloped countries.

Vivantes operates nine hospitals as well as nursing schools, educational centers and manages the largest health care management academy in the country. It is also Germany's largest health group, offering international healthcare consulting and other projects throughout the world.

According to Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Aamal Company chairman, "This is a very significant joint venture for us and I am delighted to partner with Vivantes, one of the best medical care providers across Germany and around the world. This centre will contribute to Qatar's policy of providing high quality, strong health services in our country. This contract is another successful agreement between the Government of Berlin and Aamal Company , building on the already strong mutual business foundations that are in place. I look forward to us working together in the future."
