CW Network's thriller series Supernatural will be making a comeback with Supernatural Season 11. Spoiler for the new season have since been released by the cast and crew of the show including the introduction of a new female character as well as hints of a possible return of a dead character.
Latino Post updated Supernatural fans about season 11 by talking about how Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the actor who plays the late father of series protagonists Sam and Dean Winchester. Morgan reportedly showed signs of wanting to return to the series by commenting on how good friends he is with Ackles and Padalecki.
The series' executive producer Andrew Dabb said that Morgan's return to the show would be just right for season 11. As Dabb mentioned, the Winchester brothers will be taking a very important trip down memory lane for this season. However for Morgan, scheduling will be a huge problem for him as he has already signed to do an entire season on 'The Good Wife'. Dabb says that Morgan and the series writers are trying to come up with ways to time their shoots in order for Morgan to participate in filming.
Actress Emily Swallow will be leaving her angelic character from The Mentalist and will soon be transforming intro a seductive femme fatale in Supernatural Season 11. Swallow, as reported by International Business Times, will be taking on the role of Amara. Despite the introduction of a new female character, fans during the Supernatural panel at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con raised questions on whether or not Amara would actually last long in the series considering how the beloved character Charlie was killed off.
Aside from the introduction and re-introduction of new series characters, a new and exciting season awaits fans as reported by Buddy TV. Supernatural Season 11 will be picking up where season 10 left off and will reveal even more secrets regarding the Darkness as the Winchester brothers will be discovering more about what the Darkness wants and how to defeat it.
Supernatural Season 11 will be returning to the CW Network this October 7.
