Five Nights at Freddy's 4 NOW OUT: Gameplay Brings Back 'Flashlight Mechanic'; PC Specs Require 1GB Disk Space

Hardcore PC gamers who are eagerly waiting for Five Nights At Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter can now get their hands one the new game as its official August 8 release date is again pushed forward today and is now available for order at its game page on STEAM.

Via Steam Page, game creator Scott Cawthon has released the first official description of Five Nights At Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter. It reads, "This time, the terror has followed you home. In this last chapter of the Five Nights at Freddy's original story, you must once again defend yourself against Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and even worse things that lurk in the shadows.

Playing as a child whose role is yet unknown, you must safeguard yourself until 6 am by watching the doors, as well as warding off unwanted creatures that may venture into your closet or onto the bed behind you."

This next main entry to the game franchise is said to divert from the predecessors' conventional gameplay where players take on a role of a child and is now set at home. Based on plot rumors, the child is supposed to have gone to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and was followed home by the animatronics and became the victim of Bite Of '87, that caused the forced shut down of the original restaurant.

In addition, the gameplay narrative reveals, "You have only a flashlight to protect yourself. It will scare away things that may be creeping at the far end of the hallways, but be careful, and listen. If something has crept too close, then shining lights in its eyes will be your end."

It is apparent that gaming enthusiasts can expect that the flashlight mechanic from the second installment of Five Nights At Freddy's franchise makes a return with some added twist.

The PC system requirements for Five Nights At Freddy's 4 have also been laid out where 1GB disc space is required, noted to be four times bigger than size of the past three titles. According to Geek Snack, it could mean that there will be various number of locations that players can widely explore in the game as already tipped by several reports earlier.

To fuel the excitement of fans even more, a leak on Reddit suggests that Cawthon is also working on a new game that is kept under wraps at the moment.

Five Nights At Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter is now released for PC. On the other hand, avid gamers can also watch out for the upcoming movie adaptation of the same title where Scott Cawthon is reported to be directly involved in production to meet fans' expectations.
